Eel Brook Walking Trail

This trail was completed in the Fall of 2002 and is located just off Route 351 and connects with the Nfld & Lab. T'railway. A fabulous place to hike with breathtaking scenery.

The Look-out

The Town of Norris Arm boasts a beautiful view from the Look-Out situated on Gillingham Avenue (The title bar shows a photograph on a summer's evening from the vantage point of the Look-Out). Pull your vehicle into the parking area and watch the sun as it sinks below the horizon. The Look-out overlooks Norris Arm and provides views of the Exploit's River, Norris Arm North and Botwood.



The Municipal Park

Spend the day and a have a picnic on the beautiful sandy beach in the Municipal Day Park. Situated along the banks of Rattling Brook underneath the cover of birch and trembling aspen, the park has many sites equipped with picnic tables and campfire pits. The picturesque surroundings provide for a truly relaxing experience.



Sports & Recreation

Norris Arm has several opportunities for the sports buff:

· A  softball field at the top of the hill on Gillingham Avenue.

· Two tennis courts next to the Boys and Girls Club on Citizen's Drive.

· A wharf for recreational boating.

· The Trailway runs directly through the town.

· Close proximity to several large salmon rivers, lakes, and ponds.

· Walking distance to hiking trails that wind through the natural areas surrounding our community.

· The town also has two fully-equipped playgrounds for the kids.

For visitors wanting to explore off of the Trans-Canada highway, a drive through Norris Arm will prove to be a pleasant excursion.
